The need for stand out product photography is now more prevalent than ever due to the rapid rise of online shopping. It is essential that your product catches the eye of consumers, especially with so much competition on retail platforms. The team at Flat Frog, have an extensive retail background. We understand how great images can generate even greater sales. We love to capture products in a unique way, and we have worked for almost a decade developing innovative techniques that allow us to do just that. The most premium method we use for capturing images is ‘ARP’ (augmented reality photography) this is a technique that consists of several images being taken all at different focal lengths. Using a unique software we then sew the multiple images together, this creates an image that is razor-sharp from front to back. We then carefully edit the image to perfection to create a packshot that will stop consumers in their tracks.

How do we create the perfect packshot?
STEP ONE - CONSULTATION
Before we even pick up a camera, we will work alongside you to produce a detailed brief of what you want us to deliver. Photography is subjective, so it is essential for us to have strong communication with you right from the very start.
STEP TWO - UNDERSTANDING THE MATERIAL
In order to capture your product brilliantly- we must understand the material of your product and how it reacts to light. We ensure we conduct a variety of lighting tests before we begin shooting to establish how best to light the items.
STEP THREE - LIGHTING SET UP
We have an extensive range of lighting setups at our studios. When we have established the optimum set up of shooting, we will then construct a bespoke lighting set up ensuring that we have illuminated the product perfectly- thus creating the perfect image for your product.
STEP FOUR - STAGING
A professional studio assistant is on hand to work with each of our photographers. Their role is to ensure that each product is ready for photography- looking pristine, and at the correct angle.
STEP FIVE - CAMERA SET UP
We then fine tune our camera settings for each shoot. This enables us to precisely capture and represent the true colour of the product. This means we have the ability to shoot each product with absolute precision.
STEP SIX - EDITING
And finally, we will send you, as standard, sample images from your shoot for approval. This ensures we are still in line with your brief, and that you are happy with the final images we create.
